The Amazing Power of Gratitude

Do you ever wonder why God commands us to be thankful? And not just sometimes, but in everything, all the time? A worldwide pandemic of Teen Depression

In 2021 I retired from full-time teaching and started my own business as a tutor and consultant to young teachers. The scene has changed drastically from when I first started as a young, inexperienced educator stepping into my own classroom. Now I start my day opening emails. I correspond with parents and colleagues via WhatsApp. Some of my lessons are online. However, the biggest change that I have noticed is the mental health of the students.

Teenagers have the same feelings of uncertainty and insecurity as the ones I taught almost thirty years ago. Yet, this generation seems more anxious and lacks confidence. There is a worldwide pandemic of teen depression and learning challenges…

“Lord Heal Our Nation” – Dr Arthur Frost

The pandemic was chaotic. It changed the way the world works, and many people struggled—and are still struggling—to adapt to new and innovative ways of doing seemingly simple things that we previously took for granted – such as visiting family, working remotely, or going to church online.

Dr Arthur Frost is one such man who was faced with this entirely unprecedented scenario – pastoring a church in a world with no physical gathering. During the pandemic, Arthur not only thrived to adapt to this ‘new normal’, but he allowed himself to be led by the Lord to use him in great ways, all for the Kingdom’s sake.
