Christians are known as being “people of the Book.” After all, God chose to reveal Himself to us through a collection of books! The Bible even contains commands to read it – think of Deuteronomy 6:6-9. But what about non-Biblical works? You know how the Apostle Paul in Romans 12:2 warns us to stop being conformed to the fallen world? He goes on to say, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Chip Ingram believes a key way to do that is to read great books.
Don’t be overwhelmed. You just need a plan. In addition to your daily Bible reading and meditation, Chip encourages you to shoot for reading at least one book every month.
