WHO WE ARE
JOY! Magazine is a Christian media ministry based in South Africa. We exist to lift high the Name of Jesus and serve His Church with sound, Bible-anchored content for everyday life. Since our first issue in April 2006, the Lord has grown JOY! into a multi-platform ministry reaching homes and churches across the nation and abroad.

OUR STORY
• 2005 – Ministry founded in faith and prayer.
• April 2006 – First issue of JOY! Magazine goes to print.
• 2007 – JOY! Travel launches Bible tours and pilgrimages.
• 2009 – Afrikaans sister title JUIG! Tydskrif launches, serving a unique readership.
• 2022 – Major redesign to better serve readers.

Today, through print and digital, JOY! reaches hundreds of thousands each month, distributed nationwide in major retailers and via subscriptions.

JOY! Magazine seeks to glorify God by educating and informing Christians of a Biblical worldview and the application of the Lordship of Jesus Christ in all areas of life.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, and only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
• We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal bodily return in power and glory.
• We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential – salvation is by the grace of God alone, on the basis of Christ’s atonement on the Cross alone, received by faith alone.
• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
• We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost – of the redeemed to eternal life, and of the lost to eternal damnation.
• We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
