After spending two years with His disciples, Jesus selected the 12 men that He wanted, then sent them to pilot test His strategy for total global conquest. The Great Commission is for us too. In praying for His disciples, Jesus said, “As you sent Me into the world, I have sent them into the world…. I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message” John 17:18, 20.

After I finished preaching recently, two young men approached me. They said that the Lord had called them to be evangelists, and they asked if I had any advice for them. I said, Yes, I can give you my advice in one word: obey!

The Bible doesn’t say anything specifically about genetically modified foods, but it does address the role we are to play in caring for the earth. Genesis 1:26-30 tells us that God created Adam and Eve and instructed them to multiply and fill the earth, to subdue it and rule over every living thing that moves on the earth. He also told them that every plant and tree yielding seed was to be their food.
