When opinions become idols

We are living in an age where everyone has something to say. Social media has made it easy for every person to have a platform. Opinions spread like wildfire, and we’ve mistaken loudness for leadership. You only need to scroll for a few minutes before you find believers arguing online about politics, church, or culture. The more divided the world becomes, the more opinionated we get. But not every opinion carries the weight of truth. Sometimes we are so quick to speak that we forget to listen.

God’s voice still speaks clearly through His Word. But we have to open it. We have to let it shape how we see the world, not the other way around…
