Poison dart frogs: Jewels of the rainforest

The rainforests of Central and South America are home to the brightly coloured “jewels of the rainforest”. With their dazzling array of the brightest primary colours imaginable, the poison dart frogs certainly do adorn the forest like little jewels, being only ± 5 cm in size. But do NOT touch!  However, these poisonous little frogs are a testimony of God’s wisdom and foreknowledge. Things that at first seem completely destructive – such as deadly toxins – can be used to nurture life. What else would we expect from a God who gave His life to save ours?
