A major problem in our country today is the malfunction or non-function of men as husbands and fathers. Some men try hard but don’t get it right; some don’t try at all – they are bachelor boys whose wives are no more that servants to care for the home and mistresses to satisfy their sexual appetites – hopefully! All this is at the expense of true intimacy and satisfying companionship, which is what God intended when He instituted the marriage covenant.

If we are to be the kind of husbands that our wives long for and the kind of fathers our children need, we have to go to the word of God and seek to apply its principles to our lives – both for our sakes and the sake of our families.
