Theo and Bev Wolmarans Celebrate 40 years in Ministry

This year is a very momentous celebration for Pastor Theo and Bev Wolmarans, who have been faithfully guiding Christians for 40 years to faith in Jesus, both locally and abroad. When we look at the history of spirit-filled churches in this nation, Theo and Bev shine out as one of the forerunners, starting their first church in 1979. This movement has grown to a congregation of 30 000 here in South Africa, and more than 200 000 internationally.

How can I know the will of God for my life?

At its most basic, the will of God is to repent of our sin and trust in Christ. If we have not taken that first step, then we have not yet accepted God’s will.

Fighting for Godly Families

Errol Naidoo is one of the most effective Christians I have ever encountered. He is passionate about God’s call on his life, he is driven to inform Christians of the issues that are facing us, and he is bringing the truth of God’s word out in South Africa. Errol is fighting on the frontlines for our faith, often finding himself in parliament amidst leaders who are making critical decisions that affect us.

Errol is a man to be inspired by, as he humbly leads and runs the Family Policy Institute (FPI). FPI believes marriage and the family is the foundation of civilisation, the seedbed of virtue, and the wellspring of society. FPI endeavours to shape public debate and formulate public policy that values human life and upholds the institutions of marriage and the family. Believing that God is the author of life, liberty, and the family, FPI promotes the Judeo-Christian worldview as the basis for a just, free, and stable society.

Biblical advice for STRESS

Everyone suffers from stress at one time or another. It is a common human experience. When we redirect our focus on God, we find strength to endure. When we encounter hardship, we can succumb to stress, or we can view it as a means by which God can strengthen our faith and mould our character.

While “stress” is not specifically mentioned in the Bible, scripture does speak to things such as anxiety, worry, and trouble—things we often associate with stress—and gives us clear answers on how we should deal with them. No matter the type of stress in our lives, the starting point for dealing with it is Jesus Christ.
