Animals were always part of God’s original paradise before the fall. Throughout the history of the Church, the classic understanding was that animals have souls. It was only from the time of the humanist enlightenment that the existence of animal souls was even questioned.

Many theologians and Bible scholars firmly believe that our loving Almighty Creator intends all His creatures to enjoy Heaven with Him forever. Astronauts viewing our planet from afar marvel at the extraordinary beauty of our glistening planet. In a shocking and riveting exposé, Seaspiracy, he reveals the disgraceful, corrupt, and inhumane multibillion dollar fishing industry that is driving the world into an ecological nightmare. It is one of the hardest films I have ever watched, and I had to hold back tears as the filmmaker took me on a voyage around the earth. Through his camera lens we see the devastating result that greed, cruelty, and selfishness has on God’s creation…

Isn’t Snopes known for supposedly fact-checking items in the news to expose false information? On its website Snopes claims that when misinformation obscures the truth and readers don’t know what to trust, Snopes’ fact-checking and original, investigative reporting lights the way to evidence-based and contextualised analysis. 

Recently, Snopes disseminated false information with the posting of an anti-Christian commentary with an agenda—an article that had not been fact-checked. Snopes posted a piece entitled Why Creationism Bears All the Hallmarks of a Conspiracy Theory. How could a supposed fact-checking group get away with this?

Have you been rejected when sharing the Gospel with someone, or is this a fear of yours? The sower’s responsibility is to sow the Word of God, whether or not the soil of people’s hearts accept or reject the Word being sowed. This is the same responsibility we have; sow the Word of God and let God deal with people’s hearts. Don’t be discouraged, carry on sowing the Eternal Word of God!
