A Tribute To Ravi Zacharias 1946 – 2020

On May 19th, world-renowned apologist Ravi Zacharias went home to be with Jesus. This heart-breaking news came just two months after Ravi shared an update with the world that he had been diagnosed with a rare sarcoma cancer, and that he had been sent home from hospital as doctors had “done all that they could do.”

Zacharias’ ministry and impact on this earth will never be forgotten. His mission in life was to “help the thinker believe, and help the believer think.” His life truly embodied that of a “good and faithful servant,” and we can only imagine the joy that he is experiencing sitting at the feet of Jesus.

The world lost a great apologist, but Heaven received a passionate, humble, wise, and dedicated child of God. We thank the Lord for the time that Ravi spent on this earth.  Although Ravi may no longer be with us, his legacy lives on in our world.

Steven Furtick Shares About The Danger Of Isolation

In the Gospel of Mark, we read about the time when Jesus healed a man with leprosy. This man, who is the subject of one of the first miracles recorded, does not even get a name. We are not told his name, but we are told about his condition, leprosy. The account in Mark 1:40-45 shows that sometimes your identity can be consumed by your issues. That is – you can become more known by what is wrong with you than who you have the potential to be. This can happen to the point where you no longer know your own name, you no longer have a real sense of your identity. Often times today, we lose a sense of ourselves because our issues have become so rampant.

No matter what issues or situations you may be hiding in your life, there is a Name that is greater than your issues and He is not afraid to be identified with you.
