Then Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying, “Arise and go, you and your household, and stay wherever you can; for the Lord has called for a famine, and furthermore, it will come upon the land for seven years.”  So the woman arose and did according to the saying of the man of God, and she went with her household and dwelt in the land of the Philistines seven years- 2 Kings 8 v 1-2.  And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed a certain officer for her, saying, “Restore all that was hers, and all the proceeds of the field from the day that she left the land until now.”( Verse 6)

Good morning Beloveds. This woman did what the man of God told her to go ... After 7 years she came back and claimed what belonged to her. Beloveds,as the book of Joel also say I will repay what the locusts has eaten. You may have lost a lot of things, but don't despair. The Lord will give it double back to you. Another example is Job,he had to endure the trial and tribulation and he had to be obedient and God blessed him with a double honour . We love to sing the song " I went to the enemy's camp and I toook back what the devil has stolen" hey. There's no shortcuts beloveds. We have to endure the famine,we have to endure the trial and tribulation. God hasn't left you, just keep trusting in the Lord and be obedient to the Holy Spirit. He will lead you and guide and will put the enemy to shame. Shabbbaraaka boshi! Shalom
