25 Nov 2015

Good day Sir/Madam.

Please don’t get me wrong, I am normally a very energetic, positive, joyful, happy, respectful, young 55 year old student and lover of God, but I am found wondering more and more with each passing day what is happening to the church?

At the beginning of this year after almost four years I obtained my Commissioning Diploma in theology through long distance learning from Christian Leaders Institute in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and although I have the heart, the qualifications and the love of our Father literally bursting out of me I battle to find a church or organization who is willing to give a person a chance to serve God fulltime. The world is spiraling down into the days before Noah, and we have the ark of God stocked and ready to set sail, and the church ministers and pastors are standing every Sunday crying out for sailors, but when you report for duty they have 10 000 excuses why you can’t come aboard? Why?

Some of the excuses I have met with are, Sorry, you need to belong to OUR faith…What? I thought we were Christians!!! Is your bible and God different from mine??

Others were, Sorry you are too old…Correct me if I’m wrong, but no-where in scripture do I see an age limit on serving!!! David was a boy and so was Isaac, but how about Moses and Aaron? It’s not that I am rocking up there in a rocking chair!

Our world is in trouble, our country is in trouble, and our communities are in trouble, but pastors and church leaders are more concerned about protecting “Their patch” than about bring in and encouraging, and expanding the church of God. Oh! How terribly narrow minded we have become, when we see another brother as a threat instead of a helping hand. It is NOT your or my church, but the bride of the most high God and His Son Jesus Christ.

Yes, there is much one can do and should do to expand the kingdom and spread the Gospel, and I have been busy, started a cell group, started a prayer group at work, started car guard ministry in a local shopping centre, and serving my Lord every moment of every day in my walk and talk in my current workplace, but I didn’t study so I can stay here, I believe I am called – but the church fathers needs to wake up. We need to stop accepting that this is the way things are and join hands as one and believe in the mighty God we serve and start to stand together on the power of God’s Word and take back the ground that is being stolen by Satan. Greater is He that is within me than he who is in the world…I can do ALL things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me…I am the head and not the tail…Jesus is the way…Nothing can stand against the power of God…no weapon formed…We are more than conquerors…. He will make all things work for the good for those who love and obey him…Etc Etc Etc…When will we stop cowering away and making excuses and STAND on, not my own power or authority, but on the power and authority of the great I AM the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Abraham, Jehovah Jireh, the God who brought a nation through the Red sea on dry ground, who created the entire universe and all that is in it, The mighty God who carved his law in rock and who quenched the parched tongues of millions of his people with their animals from a rock in the desert, who saved a nation through a sinner who spent three days in the belly of a fish, Who rebuilt a city from dust time and time again, one who changed the world forever with 12 ordinary fishermen, and built his church on one rough fisherman who denied even knowing Jesus, and a God who left his throne in glory and became a man and died a criminals death on a cross for a sinner like me…Wow what power! What love! What a God!!

I know that somewhere in this great planet there is a church struggling without direction and they need a pastor, a pastor who loves God with all his heart, mind and soul, someone who is looking out over Jerusalem and weeping with Jesus for the lost.

All I require is a small salary or sponsorship to look after my family, not me, and I will be free to serve God fulltime anywhere, anytime…

Should you be moved by my plea and have a need for a co-worker in the Kingdom, please contact me on this Email address  – w.davebam@gmail.com

Thank you

William
